Question : #548 Category: Dua / Supplications
Subject: any Dua for this?
Question: Salaam
If there is something we want very much, and it is not something bad and is actually for the sake of Allah, are there any duas we can read? Is there a dua or anything for definite qaboolyat/acceptance of what we are as asking for?
Thank you
Answer: Alaykum Salaam,

The acceptance of a dua'/supplication is conditional to the individual, meaning for a a sincere supplication to be accepted the believer must initially to be:
1. consuming halal
2. physically clean
3. recited earnestly
4. to have the prior intention to be grateful when the dua' has been granted
5. supplicating salawat
6. passionate in the dua' that it makes you cry.

It's important to note that all dua' are accepted in a form but not always granted or manifested in the way it was indented by the supplicator.

Further, to pray during the times of ease as well as praying in the times of difficulty further increase the chance of true acceptance.

Lastly, if you feel there has been no manifestation or acceptance of your dua' then to be content as that is to better for you, and that will be given to you in the Hereafter.
