Question: salam is it haram to have friend boy? is it haram when you hsve boyfriend but clean heart :)
Answer: Salam Alaykum.

Allah (s.w.t.) said: "Tell the believing men to cast down their looks and guard their private parts, that is purer for them, surely Allah is well acquainted with what they do." [Sura An-Nur, No. 24, verse 30].

So according to most Ulama it is not allowed to leave people of the opposite sex alone together as it may lead to satanic temptations and comiting a sin. But if they work together in an environment where there are many people around them, than this should not be a problem but appropriate hijab both in character and manner has to be observed.

Question:		 Simply beautiful. But as a prieentatson of Islam to non-Muslims I think that the aim (or authors intent) was to portray Islam as something modern and not some inapplicable way of life by those references to scientific facts in the Holy Quran.The overall prieentatson could be better if (1) the authors put a bit more into the section on prophecies specifically Duet 18:18. (and therefore Isaiah 29:12). (2) more was taken from Jamaal Ad-Din (a co-author) from his book He came to teach ou your Religion with regards to the informaiton on the belief and practices of Islam which in my opinion was done slight injustice. My criticsm is that Islam should not be presented *mainly* from a scientific (ergo, modern) p.o.v. but from its own p.o.v. the beliefs and practices need to be presented because that's what has always attracted people to Islam.
