Pearl of Wisdom
So He sent His messengers among them and He sent prophets one after another to help lead them to the covenant of their innate nature, and to remind them of His blessings that they have forgotten, to show them proofs through propagation, to extract for them the treasures of their intellects, and to show them the signs of His potential.'
Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib [as] Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 1

Rich and Poor |
|
|
The word “rich” (ghani) in the Quran is mentioned 26 times. The opposite, “poor” (fakr) is mentioned 13 times, half as much. It is another miracle of the Quran that these opposite words which have a meaning relationship also represent a numerical miracle. The verse below is an example: 38- You are invited to spend in the cause of God, but some of you turn stingy. The stingy are stingy towards their own souls. God is rich while you are poor. 47. Muhammad, 38 | The word | Number of occurrence | | Rich | 26(13X2) | | Poor | 13 |
